Failure to connect The product loaded but sadly it fails to connect to the internet to get the updates.I'm not sure I can be bothered debugging it (pop up blocker was turned off but made no difference.) Perhaps it is a fire wall issue.

Won`t run on XP 64 StockTick does not run in XP 64 bit so I cannot say if this programe is any good or not. To bad, stock tick should be updated to todays computing power standards.

Close but not quite I am looking for a product similar to Glass Cutting in order to do upholstery calculations. What I would prefer is purchasing the background code which calculates the best layout and therefore the least amount of material required. I would then integrate this into an application based on ASP.net. If anyone knows where this code is available I would appreciate their assistance.

good and bad Having trialed this software it does a fantastic job for rectangular "sheet chopping". One nice feature is that if you have your order requirement and add in some ongoing standard sizes, using the scrap from the order if there is any. Simply use the min/max feature, setting your min requirement for your standard pieces to zero and a high max number. You get great optimisation. Unfortunately the nesting of "profile" pieces seems dismal. It imports non standard shapes with ease, but fails to perform with the shapes we have put in . . .and they are not difficult shapes. Doesn`t meet my requirements The program looks ok by doesn't meet my requirements. I would have a program where I import flat .dwg and make nesting. But for it would be interesting using blanc parts... exemple my blank piece is 10 x 8 ...I would know if it wuld be better using 48 x 96 or 48 x 120 steel sheet.

I was really looking for a software/tool that would tell me how many of "x" size pieces we could get from a "y" size board (where x & y are known)- but I was able to work around this and get my information.

found it a little confusing to use but when i played arround for a while managed to get it working ok, good bit of software but there are also some easyer to use bits of kit also for free demo hope this helps. Im only using for personal use not for buisness.
